well.i had a fruitful day.had an interview in the morning for a job as a piano teacher. if i join them officially, all of my saturdays would be taken up.ie from 9am to 5pm for a year.so rest assure that i will be able to make it to cell at 530. that was definitely pleasing to my dad(i mean the piano part)cos he immediately agreed to drive me to the beauty world as soon as i told him the job i was gonna interview for.however, just some worries i have 1) school work. seriously i have no idea how it will be like so just wanna pray for good time management. 2) the kind of students i will get and how well i will be able to deliver my lesson. pray for wisdom so that i can teach well and my student will absorb well. 3) PRAY HARD that i will have little tutorial classes or lectures on saturdays so that it doesnt clash.
the interview was what i least expected.just some simple form filling and briefing which ended quickly in about half hours' time.i left the place at 1130 with my dad driving me to NUS.
yupp.i had a short tour around the school with my dad.hmm.i must say it's REEaally old.but the canteen's food is super cheap.VERY cheap.hmm. i din see any local students.all of em looked like foreigners to me..ya..my faculty is super small.oh..just a little bigger as compared to the music majors.haha.just beside.like a small little building.also, my faculty's highly accessible.firstly it's small, so when i m late for lessons i dun have to worry if the LT is far from the bus stop where i alight. secondly, the central library is jsut around the corner so i have a place to study. thirdly, i think i will love the canteen there.as mentioned the food is super cheap!! the yong tau foo 6 pieces for $1.60? i hope i din see wrongly.ahaa..
i could see that my father was very excited.more excited than me -.- he was super sg please.
anyhows.on our way home.he told me
"there's something i want to give you" -hands me a box-
haha..i was a wallet in there.i must say it's abit oh biang..uhh..ya..but well, i really appreciate it.extremely shocked cause it's been a long time since my dad last gave me a gift. uhh..yeah. prolly the sun was blue yest. ahaa..
and why was it oh biang? cos it has my name there -.- oh man.it would have looked much better with some other logo..nevertheless, i will still use it..can save some money on the wallet since i was looking for one. the design's abit boyish for a girl i feel. oh weels..
i reached home around 1215pm, so had around one hour to slack b4 i head out for dance lesson..was talking to my mum and stuff..
hmm.dance lesson was good today.as usual i cannot keep up and the dance instructor made some comments about me again. CAN YOU STOP DOIN THAT?!!?! -.- ok.i will take it with a pinch of salt (: need the practice.but jas was saying the steps today looks like it's part of a dance.so..will keep my fingers crossed about that. the teacher was kinda frustrated today.hah.cause the class cant really move. hmm.okies..i dunno.try la.haaa..no stress. jas and i were very excited so after lesson we went to find a spot to practice. after how many places we tried, we finally found a NICE spot.yeah.it's good.no one's there! ahaaaa..it's the basement of esplanade.big.spacious.cooling. only regret was that there's no mirror for us.but still it was good enough already.haa..managed to clear afew steps. we practiced for an hour and i had to leave for church..yeah..
i shall continue tonite..abit distracted..
