Well well well, seems like everyone is talking about their interns hur. Haha. I think mine is quite ok so far..i'll be going down site tmr..it's A&A works..i'm at the client side..but main con is also under the same company. Haha..so funny lurh.
Day One
under the property services division which has totally nothing to do with what I'm studying..it's all the tenancy, lease and valuation stuff..so like there wasn't much room to explore. Went to some places to see black and white bungalows at mountbatten road, fort road, and Thomson to see the drainage works at a nursery..well..at least I saw some excavations and sheet piles? Had kopi with my supervisor and another senior and ended work. Haha.
Day Two
i was transferred to another division, cos my supervisor told me that there's more things to explore over there cos there's a big project going on..like I've mentioned, it's A&A works..and a super rush project which will last for 2 months..means I'll get to see the whole process!! From site preparation to completion to the occupants moving in. woo-ness. XD the department is called 'agency' and the office quite nice lurhh. Haha..they scan your thumbprint to gain access.
so I went down to see the site at ulu pandan..it will be the future SIM hostel.. quite cool lurh. On our way there, my boss spoke to me..so I found out that we were both from SAJC too!! And he was from NUS.. he took 'Estate management' it was the 'Real Estate' back then.. so there were like 3 guys and me in the car..the 3 guys crappy one mann. The conversation was a combi of work related and crap. Haha.. then had lunch at magaret drive with my colleagues..got back to office after that.

boss: eh wei chen, last time eric run marathon one know. Look like or not?
me: ermm. No..
boss-eric: eric ah (laughs) she say you don't look like you run marathon one..hahaha
boss-me: see la..you made eric so sad..
me: -.-!!
boss-me: then what about me? Look like run marathon?
me: ermmm. Ok lahh. -.-!!
Within less that half an hour, we went out again. This time round it was the showcase of a building owned by SLA (Singapore Land Authority) which was gonna be auctioned off cos the current tenancy contract is ending soon. Currently occupied by Stansfield. I guess stansfield would try to bid back for the building? It's in a good condition..yeah..so everyone joked and laugh in the car again. They're really quite funny people..but I kept quite la cos I wasn't very familiar with them..on the way my boss was like telling me 'ehh! Wo men de jiu xiao!' (English: hey!! Our school! Sajc) I just nodded my head..
Got a lot of funny things lurhh. My boss really dun act like a boss..everyone..
Day Three
damn bored for the first half of the day..sit at my table do nothing. REALLY NOTHING. Just stare at the table.. Mr wong (my reporting supervisor) explained to me what I'll be handling.. and the organization structure and stuff and that's it for the day..
Boss came around 3+ pm to our area then he asked 'xiao mei mei zai zhuo she mei?' I was like..dots..i am not XIAO MEI MEI CAN!!! -.-!! I said 'NOTHING' in exasperation. Cos I was really frustrated I had nothing to do. He answered the staff some stuff then went off. Haha. Awhile later, he came back and tell me. 'Wei Chen! COME! Go meeting' haha.yayy.
I was happy too soon man. He's crazy?!! The air con was at 17 degrees I was like shaking inside the room. So 4 guys and me..meeting. Mr Wong turned the air con to 25 degrees and boss said he will sweat. I was like. Dots.. and he turned it back to 17!!! Haha. So the 4 of us sat just below the air con (which was far from boss and also the direct cold air) ahaa. So funny. And the meeting was totally what I least expected!! As usual, the boss din act like the boss.
Daniel: someone is interested in taking up the cafeteria space..we should go down and taste their food and have some free lunch. Haha
Boss: I dun wan to do down la..ask them to bring here. But the food will be cold by then? –look at me-
me: -.-!! yaa. Cold alr!
- talk about other stuff-
Boss: eh! I think we should just operate the mini mart on our own. Cos we can make profit from it! And I want to sell the..the one I like one!! Nachos cheese..ya!! then see what u all like then we can sell also
everyone: -.-!!!
eric: yaya. Maybe you can sell durians also right?
boss: oh..dun need dun need. We already have the durian trees so dun need to buy. I'm gonna bring wei chen to go eat right?
me: -.-!!
Boss: then what about the arcade? Which game machines are we gonna buy? OHH! My son like the car racing one! Like Daytona! We should get that!
everyone: -.-!!

Boss: -dials the phone- regina can you help me buy one fish burger
eric: wahh. One fishburger enough ahH!
boss: no la..i dun wanna eat so much later wanna go run so cannot eat too full. Eh eric. Wanna go run or not? Later at night la ok?
eric: -reluctant look- no la no la..got a lot of work to do..
me: hahaha. –laughing-
-later regina came and boss was eating fish burger in front of us-
me: dotssss!
eric-me: you haven't seen the worst!
me: har?! Still got worse than this?! Hahaha.
eric: yaya! We took photos of him next time I show u. i dunno which part of him looks like a boss la..
me: -.-!! yaa dun look like
boss: -laughing- why why? who says meeting must be so serious one?
seriously..i duno what kind of meeting is this. Actually the boss always insisted his way..but people still do things for him..haha..-.-!

Oh ya. I still haven't inform my prof that I changed side. hmms.
